In alignment with the Oregon Department of Education’s Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in K-12 Classrooms guidance, educators will gain an understanding of AI and how it can be utilized in educational spaces. Educators will also explore ethical considerations for equipping students with the tools to become critical thinkers and empathizers who use AI responsibly. This includes evaluating the human limitations and environmental impacts of AI, such as bias, safety, accountability, transparency, and data privacy. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how to take a human-centered approach for using AI in educational spaces to enhance student success and achievement.
