In the ever-changing world of K-12 education, bringing AI into classrooms opens up exciting possibilities and introduces new challenges we need to face with care and understanding. The session, “Co-Creation and AI: Shaping the Future of Education Together," is designed to be a friendly, open space where teachers can dive into the ethical side of using AI in schools. We'll talk about keeping student data safe, making sure AI treats everyone fairly, and how to ensure no student is left behind because of technology gaps. It's all about making thoughtful choices and using AI in ways that respect and uplift every student. Through lively group discussions and stories from the real world, we'll learn together how to spot these ethical issues and tackle them head-on, ensuring our classrooms remain spaces of fairness and trust. Teachers will leave this session not just with a deeper understanding of AI's ethical dimensions but with practical, inspiring ideas on how to bring these digital tools into their teaching in a way that's caring, equitable, and innovative.
